The Symposium committee is excited to announce the launching of YPGA’s 5th Annual Symposium!

Are you currently exploring career paths? Are you interested in enhancing your professional goals? Are you looking to network with fellow postgrads and share your research?

Join us at the OC Marsh Hall in the Yale Science Building on August 22nd, 2025 for this excellent opportunity to foster your own professional growth and to expand your connections with other Yale postgrads, research assistants, staff and faculty! We have organized a full day of talks, poster presentations, and career development panels tailored specifically for postgrads. This event is a great way to celebrate your accomplishments and to make the most out of your time at Yale by contributing to meaningful discussion, all while socializing over food and learning from others.

Yale postgrads from all academic disciplines are invited to attend and/or submit an abstract to present their research at the 5th Annual Symposium! The symposium is dedicated towards motivating and preparing postgrads for the next steps of their careers.

We strive to promote the visibility and diversity of postgrad research within the Yale community by:

  • creating an atmosphere of collaboration across all fields

  • encouraging postgrads to share their research

  • providing a formal networking event for all postgrads


The YPGA Symposium brings togetherpostgrads from all backgrounds and researchdisciplines. The YPGA Symposium celebratespostgrad accomplishments and also serves asa setting to network within the Yalecommunity.

We hope that the Symposium can helpforge meaningful relationships, and providepostgrads with the opportunity to growboth professionally and personally. Thisgathering is not only a showcase ofacademic excellence but also a platform forcollaborative exchange, fostering a sense ofcommunity among attendees. Additionally,postgrads can gain insight and advice fromleading experts in various fields of researchand industry, which can help them tonavigate their career journeys.
